Whether for a barbecue, during the lunch break or for dinner: a Scandinavian pasta salad with cucumber and prawns is good for any occasion and quick to make.

Ingredients for 4 persons :

  • 250 g spaghetti with a fork
  • salt
  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable broth
  • 150 grams of sour cream
  • pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 140 g canned corn
  • 200 grams of prawns
  • Dill, for garnish

Approx per serving

  • 318 calories
  • 16 grams of fat
  • 27 grams of carbs
  • 15 grams of protein

And here’s how it’s done:


  1. Cook the noodles in boiling salted water for 7-8 minutes, until slightly al dente. Drain, rinse with cold water and drain.
  2. Wash and cut the cucumber, peel it into strips and cut it into thin slices. Whisk together broth, sour cream, salt, pepper, vinegar, sugar and oil. Place in a bowl with the pasta and cucumber slices. Drain the corn and mix with the prawns
  3. Season the salad again and put it in pretty bowls. Garnish with dill and serve.
