This is how Hamburg fans celebrated Trabzonspor’s triumph
There was a surprise winner of the title in the Turkish Süper-Lig. It also led to euphoria among supporters of the Hanseatic city.

Although Adem Akman is stepping in here, that’s not quite right, says the Hamburg native with Turkish roots, who has the club’s logo tattooed on his calf. “Trabzonspor also became champions in 2011, but Fenerbahce bought the title back then,” says Akman. In fact, a Turkish court saw it as proven, European football association UEFA banned Fenerbahçe from all European competitions for two seasons. But the championship remained denied Trabzonspor. A process that has not gone unnoticed by any fan.
“It’s been an extraordinary season,” striker Emrehan Gedikli said a few weeks ago in an interview with the online portal “Transfermarkt”. of the season finale, bus stops that resemble the benches of the substitutes in the stadium, and traffic lights with the inscription “This year is the day”.
